Baptism cum Family day!

Congrats to all who got baptised! Welcome to the family.. dun haf their pics yet though.. how ironic.. hahahaha. oh wells. Family day was fun! A sunday afternoon well spent.. next time we shall stay overnight! soon soon! How i wish there were more days in the weekend. People come and tell me that i don't seem like i'm in the army at all (cos they still see me every week) But they don't know, how it feels to be cut off from the rest of the world for 5 days at a time.. Every moment spent with friends and family during the weekends is so precious! Ah wells. That's something only army guys can fully empathise with i suppose? No matter no matter. It'll all be over soon.. 3 weeks down, 3 more to go.

Iron Man outing! Haha. It was short but fun. Only I couldn't really talk properly cos i was coughing like mad.. everytime I opened my mouth I was worried that i'd spill my guts out (literally). Hope you guys don't think army changed me to become a hermit. Haha. I'm still me okay! :D :D Darn Tekong cough.. taking it's toil on me.

Everything's falling into place nice and slowly! And i really thank God for that.
Except for a few selfish people who refuse to act for the good of the rest of the team, I'm getting along pretty well with the rest.

It's according to my IC, the peak period now. So everything's gonna pick up pace. Next week we're gonna sleep under a beautiful canopy of stars with lots of 6 legged creatures for company.. I wonder how it'll be like.. somehow this reminds me of sec 3 camp where we slept in flooded tents.. and bathed in powder, rolled in the mud till we got rashes all over and Mr Maran scolded the external camp instructor.. but we all became much closer after that.

It's most interesting to see how some people go all out to avoid duties and feint illness. We even wrote a song for our champion! It's quite mean though.. hehe.

The food is getting boring.. and the bed, dirty.
But i'm getting tougher and darker.. haha. Fair trade? Perhaps.. perhaps..
